Valentine’s Day is a special time to reflect on our feelings for one another—not only between couples, but as a celebration of love shared among all of humanity. It is about spreading compassion, connection, and kindness around the world.

This day is very dear to my heart, and through my art I reflect on the strong bonds that unite us as human beings.

The paper I used is one of my favorites: handmade, thick, deckled-edge paper in natural hues. The piece is created with watercolors and black ink pens, composed of graphic lines that incorporate hearts and peace signs—symbols that are always present in my work.
