


The Missing Piece
This time, the canvas was different—I chose to draw directly on the mat itself. I then filled the empty space with thick watercolor paper, blending it seamlessly to appear as one cohesive piece. Surprisingly, the colors turned out just as vibrant on the mat as they do on the watercolor paper I usually use.
